Dormitory application online

Would you like to rent a room in one of our halls of residence? Then you can submit your application using our online form.

Notes:

1. Places in our dormitories are very popular and fill up quickly. Therefore, please submit your application as early as possible – even if you have not yet received your admission.
   An application for a dormitory place does not guarantee a dorm place, as demand exceeds our capacity.
2. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application. The dormitory application is only active after confirmation.
3. Applications remain on the waiting list for 400 days. Every 30 days, we will send you a request email. You must confirm via the link within 5 days to show that you are still interested. If you do not confirm, your application will be deactivated.
4. No information on waiting list positions:
   We are unable to provide an exact waiting list position. The waiting list is dynamic and influenced by several factors, including:
   – the type of accommodation requested,
   – individual priorities,
   – the available capacities in the respective dormitory.
5. If you have submitted multiple applications, only the most recent one will be considered. If you wish to make changes to your application, please send an email to wohnen@studentenwerk-magdeburg.de.

Dormitory service online

Have you already applied to us via the initial application form and confirmed your details? Or are you already living with us with a valid tenancy agreement? Then you can use the online residence service for:

1. the change of your personal data
2. access to your contracts
3. Inquiries about: Lease extensions and relocation requests
4. General messages
5. the sending of documents as a file upload (e.g. enrollment certificates).

To log in to the dormitory service, please use the e-mail address you used to register with us. If you do not yet have a password, please request one using the “Forgot password?” button at the bottom of the login window.
