JoGo – Student Bar + Event Space

at the former Magdeburg Campus Theater

In February, the Studentenwerk Magdeburg opens the new student bar JoGo in the former campus theater next to dormitory 7. The name “JoGo” is derived from the street in which the bar is located: Johann-Gottlob-Nathusius-Ring.

JoGo is a place for socializing, relaxing, and networking, offering students the chance to get together after lectures or work meetings, exchange ideas, or enjoy special moments together at a variety of events.
We focus on offering food and drinks at affordable prices to ensure that the student bar is accessible to as many students as possible.

Are you planning an event—whether it’s a reading, an exhibition, a play, or a concert? Or would you like to use the JoGo / CampusTheater for a private event? We look forward to hearing your ideas—the JoGo, including the event hall, can also be rented for public and private events. The hall can accommodate 200 people. For student events, you can apply for a cultural grant from the Studentenwerk Magdeburg at the same time.
