Do you like to build up a new characters and express them with your body and your voice?
This workshop will give you a great opportunity to learn more about acting in an international group. You will learn some basics of technique in acting in order to work with text and scenes from classical and modern theatre plays. You will also have the opportunity
to introduce styles and techniques that you are more familiar with from your own cultural backgrounds. An English actress and coach will be teaching the workshop completely in English. The workshop will be a safe and playful space to explore acting and scene work.
Dates:
June 22th Friday – 7 pm – 9 pm
June 23th Saturday – 11 am – 4 pm
Max. participants: 8
Language: only English optional native language for scenes
Location: campus theatre
Condition of participants: students of Otto-von-Guericke-Universität and Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, fluent in Englisch, come in comfortable black clothes and bring water and lunch for the break.
