Your University
The Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg was founded in 1993 and now has 9 faculties, 79 programmes and almost 14,800 students. The university is named after Otto von Guericke (1602-1686) who came from Magdeburg and became famous for his pioneering studies of vacuum.
