The next parents’ café will take place on June 13 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the IKT – Interkultitreff (Walther-Rathenau-Straße 19, 39106 Magdeburg). Here we offer students the opportunity for an informal exchange.
We would like to invite all students with children from Magdeburg Stendal University of Applied Sciences, Harz University of Applied Sciences and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. The parents’ café offers students of all genders and cultures a valuable opportunity to share experiences, support each other and make new friends.
The content and dates will be agreed with you parents to ensure that they meet your needs and interests. A wide range of topics can be covered, from tips on balancing studies and family to financial matters or simply to talk to each other about current issues within parenthood.
Your children are also very welcome – there will be a small play corner for them, which they can use under your own supervision.
Registration is not necessary. There is a Whatsapp group for the Parents’ Café, which you are welcome to join to take part in appointment surveys or to ask questions.
Participation is also possible if you only speak a little German. We will take this into account in the Parents’ Café.
Would you like to take part but can’t because you’re not on site or your lack of German makes you hesitate? Please let me know so that I can organise targeted activities for you if you need them.
