Since 1995, the newly-built student homes `Am Finkenborn 3 and 5` have been made available for the students. In the suburbs between the section `Harzblick’ and the residential estates of single family homes ‘Charlottenlust,` the housing complex has a social setting with an integrated infrastructure.  One can use the city bus to reach the University, which is convenient to the city center. The functionally designed lay-outs of the three-story houses make it possible for 66 students to live in single rooms of the 6 three-bedroom and 12 four-bedroom apartments in the houses 5 and 6.

With the uniform room size of 120,21ft and 50, 01 ft -75, 33 ft of community-used space, each student has 180 ft available. Each apartment has a bathroom unit, a kitchen and a social area; the four-bedroom apartments have an additional toilet. The basic equipment of each housing unit includes a kitchen, a commonly-used dining place and a telephone connection (after registration). Rooms with a 20-channel aerial connection including the radio station will be rented unfurnished. Laundry and dryers are available on the second floor, parking spaces for automobiles and designated areas for bicycle complete the inexpensive housing conditions.  You are responsible for contracting your own power supply.
