What can one do if the parents refuse the alimony amount set by the BAföG standards?  Here the Federal education support law offers the possibility of the advance achievement procedure after §36. The support is called advance achievement according to §36 scholarship because the support occurs instead of the contribution because of the obligation to receive alimony.

Allowances can also count material items such as lodging, clothes, catering and pocket money. Then it is checked whether the support needs to be performed regardless of the economic relations of the parents (independently of family) or whether the claim of the student on maintenance passes over scholarship against his parents on the federal state according to §37 and is asserted on the civil law way against them.
