The German Institute for community catering has developed guidelines for large catering businesses. The approximate 80 members - from 'A' like 'Allianz' thru 'Z' like 'ZDF' - have developed a 10-point program.
Like the 36 other 'Studentenwerke' in Germany, the Studentenwerk Magdeburg does a regular quality check. After passing the test, we are allowed to carry the quality seal:
'This catering service works by the guidelines of the DIG.'
